Windows 10 Something Went Wrong but You Can Try Again
Hi Ed,
Get-go your PC, just as Windows attempts to load (spinning dots), press and hold Power Push button for 5 - 10 seconds to perform a Hard Close Downwards
Exercise this twice
On the tertiary start Windows will kick into the Recovery Environment and from at that place you tin can access System Repair, Prophylactic Fashion, Command Prompt . . . etc.
Please try each option one at a time, then run across of Windows will boot . . .
Go to Troubleshoot - Advanced Selection - System Restore
Bank check to see if you have a restore point you tin go back to
If you do not have a Restore Point, go to Troubleshoot - Avant-garde Option - Startup Settings and click Restart
Upon restart, press 4 to enter Safe Mode
Once in Safe Mode, backup your data if you practice not already have a fill-in
Open up Device Director and bank check to brand sure all your Drivers are up to date
Reboot to meet if Windows will start Ordinarily
If the above fails, get to Troubleshoot - Advanced Options - Reset this PC
Choose to go along your files and apps, simply your files or to continue nothing
Then start the Reset
